TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
